I wiped out at about 60 kph on the highway outside of Haridwar, it was raining and I had just lost my back brake, and it was either go sideways on the pavement or under an oncoming truck. I was really lucky, the rear rack ripped off and took most of the impact, my helmet, gloves and pants had some ugly road rash on them but I just got minor scrapes and bruises. I still remember what it felt like to go down onto that pavement, and then open my eyes an eternity later and realize I was still alive. I stopped pushing it so hard after that.
